Stefano utilizes visual elements such as puppetry, masks and objects to bring stories to life.

Stefano is an experienced and passionate director, designer and puppet fabricator. His work has been seen on Broadway, Off Broadway, Regional Theaters and International Stages. He’s also made puppets for parades, cruises and zoos. He’s worked at the Jim Henson Creature Shop, making puppets and props for SESAME STREET and other projects. Stefano has been the recipient of many grants and scholarships to develop original, full stage productions featuring puppets and actors. Currently, he produces Opera and Musicals at the prestigious Manhattan School of music where he acts as Director of Theatrical Design overseeing 22 productions a season. He has been instrumental in designing and building the props and wardrobe departments as well as revamping the entire production department. Stefano has been teaching graduate and undergraduate classes and workshops across the U.S. For 13 years Stefano has been an adjunct professor at Marymount Manhattan College where he teaches directing, puppetry and devising theater classes.
